and the best ad i've seen lately is:

Budget airline Ryanair has been told to withdraw an advert featuring a model in schoolgirl-style clothes and a headline "hottest back to school fares".

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the "irresponsible" image appeared to link teenage girls with sexually provocative behaviour.

The advert shows the model with a bare midriff in a short skirt, tie, shirt and knee-high socks in a classroom.

Ryanair refused to withdraw the image and said the ruling was "censorship".

The advert, which was printed in three newspapers reaching 3.5 million readers - the Herald, Daily Mail and Scottish Daily Mail - publicised flights from £10 one way.

'Widespread offence'

It prompted 13 complaints to the ASA from readers who found it offensive and, after an investigation, the watchdog ruled the advert breached the advertising code's rules on social responsibility and decency.

...boring bastards!

yep. sadly we're way too politically correct to have any hot girls in adverts over here.

perhaps an image of christine moritz would have been more to their liking. however, that might enrage environmental groups who know the true damage of the granny panty industry...

now, hold on... before britney spears began gracing the headlines (and I am reticent to use the word "grace", as she seems to neither inspire or harbour any semblence of grace) wih her uncanny ability to display model behaviour befitting a mother and dare I say "role model", she exemplified the "naughty school girl" personae based solely on her premier video for whatever song that was way back then when she donned similar duds. I don't seem to recall peeps throwing up a stink about it then. "oh how cute", is more what I remember at least one suburban soccer mom commenting. ;)
